10 years ago, in 2013, we created Terre ô, a piece for a dancer in direct contact with the earth, clay.

Today, we're back at it, nourished by other questions, other desires, in tune with our current situation. So it's in the continuity of this research, and because we want to defend a long-term project, that we've undertaken this new project. The same material is at the heart of the project, but the stakes are no longer the same.

In this work with clay, the body finds itself in a true, authentic, direct, raw and unadorned relationship with the material. It works with it, in the moment, and this project will seek out that state, that presence. This body playing with the earth will witness its fragility, its vulnerability as well as its strength. Body to body, telling the story of places of life and resistance. Between tension and abandonment.

From the outset, this project was conceived with the environment in mind, and as close as possible to a sustainable economy. In fact, we worked with recycled materials, used low-energy technical means and limited the use of fossil-fuel-powered means of transport as much as possible.
